A layout decides how your screen is carved up — one big playlist? Or a playlist on the left, a menu on the right, and a banner running across the bottom? You build that arrangement once as a Layout, then reuse it.
See your layouts
- Sidebar → My Scheduling → Layouts.
- The grid shows: Name, Number of Zones, Number of Displays, and User.
- Use the column filters to find a specific layout. The grid shows “no rows” if you haven’t built any yet.
- The Action menu (right edge) lets you Edit, Lock, Duplicate, or Delete a layout.
Create a layout
- Click + Create Layout in the top right.
- Name your layout (required).
- Step 1 — Choose a Layout:
- Switch between 1 Zone and 2 Zones tabs depending on how many distinct content areas you need.
- Pick a thumbnail. Each thumbnail represents an arrangement (e.g. landscape / portrait, banner top / bottom / left / right).
- Click Next to go to Step 2 — Add Content and assign a playlist (and optional banner) to each zone.
- Click Next to Step 3 — Select Your Display(s) and pick which displays should run this layout.
- Click Save.
Tips
- The number of zones limits what you can show at once. 1 Zone = full-screen content. 2 Zones is great for “main + side panel” setups.
- Pair a layout with a Split-Screen Playlist (see
06-playlists/) when the playlist itself needs to stay synchronized across multiple zones. - The colored stripe in the thumbnail represents a Banner zone — leave it unchecked if you don’t want a banner.
