How to use Banners

A banner is an overlay you can run on top of a playlist — perfect for promotional messages, tickers, or alerts that need to stay on-screen while the rest of the content rotates.

Find a banner

1. Sidebar → My Scheduling → Banners.
2. Use Search… by name or filter the columns:
   • Status — All / Active / Scheduled / Intermediate / Expired.
   • From / To — by schedule window.
   • User — by owner.

Create a banner

1. Click + New Banner in the top right.
2. Name the banner.
3. Set the text/content, color, font, and animation.
4. Pick a From and To date.
5. Attach the banner to displays (or display groups).
6. Save.

Inline controls (per row)

• Pause/Play toggle — instantly pause or resume the banner without editing.
• Action menu (right edge) — Edit, Lock (freezes the banner), Duplicate (copy as starting point), or Delete.

Tips

• Use a banner for time-bound promos (“Happy Hour 4–6pm”) rather than baking it into a playlist — easier to swap later.
• Lock finalized brand banners to prevent accidental edits.
