Is CrownTV compatible with my display?
CrownTV works with virtually any display that has an HDMI input — TVs, 4K monitors, tablets, projectors, even jumbotrons. Practical setup notes for landscape, portrait, and video walls.
Yes — CrownTV’s technology is compatible with virtually any display, including:
- Standard HD TVs.
- 3D displays.
- 4K Ultra HD screens.
- Tablets.
- Projectors.
- Even jumbotrons.
If a display has an HDMI input and accepts a 1920 × 1080 (or higher) signal, the CrownTV player will drive it.
Practical notes
- For 4K Ultra HD displays, set the layout/template/playlist content at the matching resolution to avoid upscaling artifacts.
- For portrait mounts (kiosks, vertical menu boards, store windows), set the display’s Orientation to Portrait or Reverse portrait in Displays → Management → Edit Settings, and design templates at 1080 × 1920.
