Setting up your CrownTV media player

What you’ll do

1. Unbox the player, power supply, HDMI cable, and mounting hardware.
2. Connect HDMI from the player to the TV/monitor.
3. Plug in power.
4. Power on the TV/monitor and select the correct HDMI input.
5. The player boots and shows an activation code on the screen.
6. In the dashboard, sign in and go to Displays → Management, find the new display row (it will show as Deactivated), click the Action menu, choose Activate Display, and enter the activation code.
7. The player syncs and starts showing the playlist you assign to it.

If the player won’t show video

• Confirm HDMI cable + correct TV input.
• Verify network connectivity — see Connecting your player to the internet (21-network-setup/).
• Open Displays → Monitoring and check the Connection dot for that display.
• If it’s offline, click Download in the row to grab a diagnostic bundle, then contact support via the in-app Help button.
