Procurement teams ask three things: capabilities (covered across this page), references (named, with deployment scope), and disclosure — what we have today versus what we don't yet have, fully laid out below.

What we respond to

Corporate enterprise

Multi-location rollouts, brand-standardized signage programs, and supplier-diversity-compliant procurement for Fortune 500 and mid-market brands.

Government & public sector

State, local, and federal agencies, transit authorities, K-12 and higher education, and healthcare systems with formal vendor-selection processes.

Specialized & regulated procurement

Franchise programs, hospitality groups, retail chains, gaming, and organizations operating under tribal or specialized licensing requirements.

What a CrownTV response covers

  • Displays

Commercial-grade Samsung panels: QM-series (indoor) and OM-series (high-brightness window, sun-readable). 3-year Samsung standard limited warranty covering parts and labor. Rated for 24/7 operation, 50,000+ hour lifespan, ENERGY STAR certified.

  • Media player

CrownTV Media Player — commercial-grade, proprietary, connects to the display via HDMI and to your existing ethernet network. No modem, no router, no on-site cloud hardware required.

  • Software (CMS)

CrownTV Dashboard — fully web-based. Remote content management, scheduling, multi-screen control, media library, real-time updates, user permissions and role-based access. No software installation on client machines.

  • Installation

Nationwide network of professional installation crews. Wall mount and ceiling mount options. Site survey, electrical coordination, mount-and-set of the display, media player setup, and CMS configuration at each location.

  • Content design

Optional — branded templates, menu boards, promotional graphics, video content. Per-project hourly engagement with scoped estimate before work begins.

  • Support

Dedicated account manager, extended-hours phone and email (M–F, 7am–9pm ET), 48-hour media-player replacement at no charge during contract, remote diagnostics, quarterly preventative-maintenance checks, on-site dispatch when required.

Security & compliance

Plain answers for procurement security review.

We answer security questionnaires honestly — including what we don't yet have. The architecture below is built to minimize the IT attack surface in your environment.

What we have today

  • Samsung Authorized Reseller — exclusive certified reseller, displays sourced and warrantied through Samsung Business Partner channel.
  • NY State WBE certified — Women-Owned Business Enterprise, current.
  • SBA WOSB in process — federal Women-Owned Small Business certification underway.
  • HTTPS sitewide — TLS on every CrownTV property and on the Dashboard, enforced.
  • SAML SSO for the Dashboard — enterprise accounts authenticate through your identity provider; access scoped per user, role, location, or department.
  • Minimal on-site footprint — the CrownTV Media Player connects via HDMI to the display and ethernet to your existing network. No on-site cloud hardware, no dedicated VLAN required, no software installation on staff machines. Reduces the IT attack surface compared to PC-based signage stacks.
  • No PHI on patient-facing screens — healthcare deployments are designed so patient-identifying data never reaches a public-facing display. Queue integrations use anonymous identifiers (e.g. last 4 of patient #).
  • Insurance — General liability + workers' compensation. Certificates provided with RFP response on request.

What we don't have yet

Disclosed up front so procurement doesn't get surprises later.

  • SOC 2 Type II — not yet certified. On the roadmap. Happy to share our internal control framework and compensating controls during procurement security review.
  • Public penetration test results — no published report yet. We will coordinate a customer-funded pen test for enterprise deployments where required, and share results under NDA.
  • FedRAMP / StateRAMP — not currently authorized. Out of scope for typical signage workloads; ask us if your program requires it.
  • PCI-DSS — not applicable to the CrownTV stack. Our Dashboard does not process, store, or transmit cardholder data; we are not in your CDE scope.

RFP — frequently asked

What's the typical turnaround on an RFP response?
5–10 business days for moderately complex scope. Faster timelines available for urgent RFPs — let us know the deadline in the intake form below.
How long does implementation take after award?
Project lead and implementation coordinator assigned within 5 business days of award. Rollout plan delivered within 10 business days. Standard turnkey install: under one week per location from site survey. Multi-location rollouts sequenced in batches of 5–25 locations per week.
Will our IT team need to be involved?
Minimal. The CrownTV Media Player connects via HDMI to the display and ethernet to your existing network. No on-site cloud hardware, no dedicated VLAN required, no software installation on staff machines. CrownTV Dashboard supports SAML SSO so IT can manage access through your identity provider.
What platform integrations do you support (POS, calendar, KPI dashboards, SSO)?
CrownTV Dashboard supports embedded URL feeds (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker), API-driven content, calendar integrations, POS-driven content, and SAML SSO for enterprise authentication. Specific integration scope is confirmed during the 30-minute kickoff call.
What's the SLA on support and replacement hardware?
Dedicated account manager, urgent response within 4 business hours, 48-hour media-player replacement at no charge during contract, remote diagnostics, on-site installer dispatch through our nationwide crew network, and quarterly preventative-maintenance checks. See the Service escalation section above for response and resolution targets.
Can you install nationwide?
Yes. CrownTV maintains a network of local professional installation crews across all 50 states. Standard turnkey deployments go live in under a week.
Do you respond to government RFPs?
Yes — state, local, and federal. We can provide standard vendor documentation (W-9, insurance certificates, NAICS codes, references) on request.
Are you a minority or women-owned business?
Yes. CrownTV is NY State WBE certified and currently in the process of obtaining federal SBA WOSB certification.
What hardware do you supply?
Samsung commercial-grade displays — QM-series (indoor 4K) and OM-series (high-brightness window, 3,000+ nits, sun-readable). Each display is paired with the CrownTV Media Player and mounted with commercial-grade hardware.
Do you offer software without hardware, or hardware without software?
Yes. The CrownTV Dashboard is available standalone for clients with existing displays, and we sell Samsung displays and CrownTV media players à la carte. Most clients prefer the turnkey bundle, but it's never required.
Do you sign NDAs or confidentiality agreements?
Yes — standard practice for enterprise RFPs.
Do you administer the display warranty?
Samsung handles the 3-year standard limited warranty directly. CrownTV can coordinate the warranty process on your behalf for an additional service fee.
