Video wall system

A video wall is a room-scale canvas, not a bigger TV.

The buyer needs to understand configuration, seam, viewing distance, mount engineering, content canvas, calibration, and support. CrownTV scopes those pieces as one installed project.

What is a video wall?

A video wall is a group of commercial displays engineered to act as one canvas. Most standard 2×2, 3×3, and 4×4 walls use narrow-bezel LCD video-wall panels. Hybrid flagship walls pair large-format commercial displays such as 98″ and 85″ panels. Premium bezel-zero builds use direct-view LED tiles instead of LCD panels.

  • 2×2 of 55″ LCD tiles — roughly a 110″ canvas, the most common starter configuration.
  • 3×3 of 55″ LCD tiles — roughly a 165″ canvas; the flagship-retail and corporate-lobby standard.
  • 4×4 of 55″ LCD tiles — roughly 220″, used for stadium concourses, broadcast, and trading floors.
  • Hybrid 98″+85″ — paired large-format panels for a high-impact flagship install.
  • Direct-view LED — direct-view LED tiles, 1.5–2.5mm pixel pitch, frameless seam.

Frequently asked

Video walls — FAQ

How much does a video wall cost?
Installed pricing depends on configuration and display class. A 2×2 of 55″ narrow-bezel LCD video-wall panels runs $16,000–$17,200 all-in. A 3×3 runs $36,000–$38,700 all-in. A 4×4 runs $64,000–$72,000 all-in. A hybrid 98″+85″ flagship is custom-quoted in the $40,000–$120,000 range. Direct-view LED walls (1.5–2.5mm pixel pitch) are scoped per project and usually start much higher. All-in pricing includes panels, video-wall mount, calibration, content commissioning, and 1-year Dashboard.
What size video wall do I need?
Match the configuration to viewing distance and content. 2×2 of 55″ (≈110″ canvas) works for retail end-caps and corporate-lobby focal points at 8–15 ft viewing distance. 3×3 (≈165″) is the flagship-retail and corporate-lobby standard at 12–25 ft. 4×4 (≈220″) suits stadium concourses, broadcast environments, and trading floors at 20–40 ft. Hybrid 98″+85″ is a statement install for flagship-retail brand moments. Direct-view LED is the right call when bezel-zero is non-negotiable or pixel pitch matters more than budget.
What configurations do you support?
Standard 2×2, 3×3, and 4×4 plus custom (1×3 strip, 4×3 wall, irregular tile, jumbotron-scale arena builds). Hybrid layouts (98″+85″) for flagship statement installs. Direct-view LED for premium pixel-pitch builds. Scoped per project.
Do you do stadium digital signage and jumbotron-scale builds?
Yes. Stadium digital signage covers concourse video walls, gate wayfinding, F&B menu boards, sponsor rotations, and game-day live feeds. For jumbotron-scale arena and event walls, we ship direct-view LED tiles in 1.5–2.5mm pixel pitch with the structural mounting and rigging built into the project plan.
Do you do mall digital signage?
Yes. Mall digital signage covers center-court anchors, food-court directories, storefront-frontage walls, and tenant-content programs. Tenant-managed content scopes let each retailer push their own creative; mall ops own the directory + emergency-alert channel.
How tight are the seams between tiles?
0.44mm tile-to-tile on bezel-tight commercial video-wall. From a few feet away the wall reads as one image — no visible bezel grid, no pan shear at the seam.
Can the wall show one image or multiple zones?
Both. Single-canvas full-wall content, OR independent zones per panel — switch in the Dashboard.
How long does a video wall install take?
Standard 2×2 or 3×3 installs in 1–2 days. Custom, large, stadium digital signage, and mall digital signage walls scoped per project — typically 3–10 days depending on scale and structural requirements.
Can I drive live data feeds?
Yes. Embed live URLs (sports tickers, dashboards, social walls) into wall zones via Dashboard apps.
